I will be happy to hear from you. 1-2 initial meetings are free.  If both parties want to proceed, you can select one of two payment models:

Hourly pay:  Good for short-term, specific help. E.g.: Brainstorming business models; review of business plan; sanity check of a major decision; preparing you for your first investor pitch; interim co-pilot; second opinion on potential co-founders or candidates for your management team.

Long-term relation:  I ask for about 1% ownership for 1 year of regular mentoring.  During the year, we will communicate several times a month, by email, regular calls and face-to-face meetings.  Meetings can consist of individual coaching, participation in Advisory or Board meetings, or a mix.  Typically I will not do actual writing for you, but will give you thorough feedback on your written material.  I will also not represent your company towards prospective investors or business partners, but may participate in meetings alongside with you.
